Purdey’s Next Chapter: A Bold New Look and the Final Push to Santana Trophy

The Giti Gazelles never stop! After a meaningful visit to Morocco, where they continued their commitment to supporting education in remote communities, the team returned to the UK to reunite with Purdey.

Their dedication on and off the rally circuit is what makes this journey so inspiring. Our congratulations the team on their unwavering efforts to make a real difference—balancing rally preparation with meaningful initiatives that have a lasting impact.

Back in the UK, it was time for a long-awaited moment—the unveiling of Purdey’s stunning new look. The wrap, meticulously crafted by Blue Lizard Signs, brought to life a vision that had been in the works for over a year. Every detail, from the weathered effect to the signature hidden mice, made Purdey a true standout. But it wasn’t just about looks; the team also had their first up-close look at the expertly designed roll cage from Safety Devices and the precision-built exhaust system from Demand Engineering. Every element of the build had come together, turning Purdey into a rally-ready machine.

With Purdey not yet running, loading her onto the trailer was an exercise in teamwork and determination—a fitting preview of the challenges to come in the Santana Trophy. From Blue Lizard’s workshop, the team set off for the ferry, bringing Purdey home to France for the next phase of preparation.

The return journey was intense, with early mornings, long drives, and a quick stop to check that every strap and detail was secure. Finally, back in the familiar workshop, it was time to unload and start reassembling Purdey for the challenges ahead. But the work didn’t stop there—the team also unpacked a shipment of high-performance parts from AlliSport, including an upgraded intercooler, EGR delete kit, and a reinforced manifold designed to withstand the rigors of desert racing. Every part had been carefully selected to enhance Purdey’s endurance and performance in the toughest conditions.

Now, with just 70 days until the Santana Trophy, the final push begins. There’s still wiring to complete, components to reinstall, and critical systems to test.

Stay tuned as the team moves full throttle into the final weeks of preparation. The countdown is on!
